Betty the Bentley is keen to visit the Blackall Range for the rescheduled Wedding Showcase after being “left at the alter” the first time round.

Birti Classic Wedding Cars owner Lynda Herron said, like everyone else involved, the 1952 champagne & black Bentley was  disappointed at missing out on a run along the Blackall Range when the event was rain-checked due to the COVID lock-downs earlier this month.

“We were hopeful of another date and looking forward to all Brisbane Brides being able to attend,” said Lynda. “Thankfully our wishes came true with the rescheduling.”

Lynda and husband Patrick  hire Betty for weddings, school formals & photo shoots and also run an airport transfer service in their family business.

“Like many others COVID 19 is affecting our business in a lot of ways, especially with our airport transfers,” said Lynda. “But we are determined to survive and keep our luxury vehicles available.

“We are hoping this Showcase will help Brides who want to have a wedding this year. So many weddings had to be  postponed due to COVID 19.

“Hopefully this will be the boost the industry needs and Betty will enjoy the drive up the mountain.”

If you’re interested, Betty comes with a chauffeur, red carpet and sparkling wine for the happy couple after the ceremony which makes for great photo opportunities.
